… “Mom and Dad, I just got saved! Something wonderful has happened!” They looked at me with a quizzical look, unsure of what I was saying. I went on, “He blessed me with the Holy Spirit!” They didn’t understand what I was saying, so I just lifted my hands and began praying, and I spoke in tongues and magnified the name of Jesus. When I opened my eyes, my mother’s head was bowed low. She wasn’t praying; she was discouraged. As I walked upstairs to bed, my father said, “Don’t worry, honey. He’s just going through a religious phase.”
…A year later, my mother was saved. Three years later, my father was saved. After that, my two sisters and brother were saved. Over 50 members of my family received the gospel of Jesus Christ and were born again and baptized in both the Holy Spirit and water! This was a miracle of household salvation, and we traced it all back to a precious woman by the name of Alma Hedgepath….
