“For they heard them speaking in other tongues and praising God.” Acts 10:46 (NIV)
Christ gives us power to speak sounds, words and syllables to spiritually communicate with God. We can worship, praise and pray in this new way just as the new Christians in Caesarea magnified God when they received this powerful gift. The Spirit knows the mind and heart of God and intercedes on our behalf with groans and sounds that are outside of our human vocabulary. When you don’t know how to pray, or reach a place in worship where there are no human words for what you feel in your spirit, you have power to speak in tongues. Open your mouths and speak in tongues as the Spirit inspires you.
