“Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.” 1 Corinthians 12:31 (NIV)
Christ gives us power to have spiritual fervor. It’s a dynamic gift to have great energy and enthusiasm for the cause of Christ. Scripture tells us that Jesus’ zeal for the house of the Lord fueled his actions of overturning corrupt vendors’ booths in the temple. Zeal motivates us to act boldly, like being filled with an unquenchable fire. You can have divine fire too. Lord, release the power of zeal in Your people.
