For doing a good and supernatural deed (casting the Python spirit out of an innocent, young girl) Paul and Silas were falsely accused, beaten and imprisoned. When you take authority and cast out “constricting” spirits, you change the dynamic of a situation. Expect some blowback. But be encouraged – God is working it all out!
