Python snakes have been captured weighing over four hundred pounds and stretching over twenty-seven feet long! Capable of eating pigs and deer (the African rock python can even eat antelope!), this type of snake constricts and asphyxiates its victim. All prey is swallowed whole and takes days and even weeks to digest!
In the realm of the spirit, there are pythons, too. This type of devil was identified in the book of Acts. Exposed by one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, this Python spirit was cast out by the authority of the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 16:18).
No matter how big or powerful your enemy is, the name of Jesus Christ is greater in size and power! Apply the name of Jesus against all “constricting” spirits with faith and purity, and you will win just like Paul did!
