Out of a household salvation and Pentecost, many other people got saved. My mother, Virginia, at the age of 50, drove to Palm Beach Florida by herself, with the front seat loaded down with books and tapes about the Holy Ghost and fire. She went to share the good news of Christ with her brother, who quickly rejected it. She then drove another 60 miles to connect with an old high school classmate and share the gospel there, and that classmate (Alice Jean) received her salvation and Pentecost within an hour. Mom then drove back to Indiana rejoicing. Alice Jean went on to live the next 35 years of her life as a changed woman.
The fire that the early church caught (120 in the upper room) quickly spread to the crowd. The Bible says in Acts 2:41, “And the same day was added unto them about 3,000 souls!!” Spread the fire to the “Alice Jean’s” in your life today!
