“And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning.” ~Leviticus 6:12a
Burning wood, a flammable substance, was an indespensible element to keep the fire burning! This combustable material was to be placed on the altar every morning by the priest. This was an Old Testement type of our New Testement experience. By placing the “wood” of fresh scripture into our heart, we perpetuate the continual warmth, revelation and comfort of the Spirit’s fire.
