This July holds great significance for KNMI and our partners. We will be preaching in the town square of Tabaka, Kenya to approximately 10,000 people during our evening crusades and to 1,000 or more pastors during our day sessions! In addition, we will be digging three wells for villages throughout the region in desperate need of fresh water. This will be the largest endeavor KNMI has ever undertaken!
To me, this marks the turning of a tide for KNMI. It is a sign of expansion and growth – not just for a moment, but for eternity. No baby grows to the size of an elementary school student, only to return to infant size again. I believe that we are growing, not to return! We are taking ground internationally, and this is only the beginning!
I always have a burning passion to reach people with the Gospel message, but I feel a special urge to build these wells for the villages. It’s hard to explain, but God has confirmed His desire that we do so through Numbers 21:16-18. It says, “Gather the people together, and I will give them water. Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it: The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves.” Following this example, we are going to be singing throughout our time in Tabaka, and Bishop Jefferson Nyatuka’s men will dig the wells under his direction.
On this dry and thirsty land we are asking God to spring up spiritual water through a multitude of salvations and physical water through these three wells. We are believing that these wells will meet the needs of the communities – especially those of the women and children. It will take $25,000 to make this possible. Will you partner with us in this endeavor?
I want to challenge your faith to match your giving to your last water bill. For some of you, that might be $60; for others, it might be $200. You’re capable of providing your family with fresh water day in and day out; take a step of faith and cover your extended family this month. Remember these communities are impoverished. If they had the ability to give themselves clean drinking water, they’d have done so already. Our Father wants His children to be well; He said, “If you see your brother thirsty, give him a drink.” Jesus goes further and says, “Inasmuch as you did for the least of these, you did it for Me.”
Out of your generous investment will come a harvest of sanitary living conditions for your brothers and sisters in Kenya, along with the birth of new creations into the Kingdom of God. What is better than a guaranteed investment that will not only stand the test of time, but the test of eternity?
Sow your seeds of love and enable these wonderful works to be complete. Your partnership is essential to everything we do. I am so grateful that we have been divinely paired together, workers in the harvest, laboring to advance the Kingdom of God. For your seed, I would like to send you my Household Salvation message on CD. I’d love for you to include the names and photos of your lost loved ones in your reply envelope so that my team and I can join with you in believing that your entire household will be saved!
Don’t forget to check out our itinerary for ministry times near you. It would be such a joy to meet up with you while we are nearby!
May Christ cause a well to spring up within you and bring the refreshing that you need to your soul.
